Published by Two Ponds Press, Kuch designed and illustrated this book of  an unpublished manuscript by Margaret Wise Brown. Using soft ground etching with elements from nature , Kuch created richly textured imagery following the collage tradition of Eric Carle, Leo Leoni & Ezra Jack Keats. Passages of the narrative too effervescent for linear portrayal such as the River foaming were illustrated with paste papers.
